Hi friend,
How is this completely bonkers week finding you? Ready for some frivolous escapism (said the girl who wrote about Jimmy Kimmel on her business newsletter and probably scared off a bunch of people) (I don’t care)?

Ok, first, let’s tackle some pieces I haven’t done justice:
First, this glorious piece by my friend Yael, which is on my shelf, but I want to find it a better place because how cool? Maybe in my home office? I AM going to be meeting coaching clients there soon. Too much?
I showed this wall last week but this is a better pic - even though the lamp no longer lives there (plus it now has a beautiful shade) and I swapped the chairs for Marcel Breuer ones.
Eye “mask” by Umasqu / Map illustration by my friend Anne Ditmeyer (she’s on Substack too!) / abstract original by Yaara Oren.
Ok, moving on!
Just next to this wall and across the entrance, I have this huge geometrical painting by my friend Liat Levi Kopleman. Fun fact: Liat used to be my Editor in Chief and she was the first person to take a chance on me in the magazine world, back in 2010. She’s also an entrepreneur and an author (as well as an influencer.) (ps: That overhead lamo is long gone).
And… if you walk passed the smiling teen (that’s mine), you’ll find yourself smack dab in the kitchen:
Sorry about the mess, but how cute are those prints? One is vintage and one is retro.
Ok, let’s pivot now, moving to said teen’s room:
I thiiiink that’s an Attack On Titan poster but don’t hold it over me if I’m wrong. Also: all the HP merch was bought before JKR became a raging TERF. Blergh.
And finally… the messiest and one of the most used rooms in our home: the shelter/tv room/sewing room/dressing room (that’s a massive Ikea closet on the right because we don’t have closets in the other rooms).
Just next to the TV, we’ve got this Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind illustrated poster, which I’m obsessed with (it’s also one of my favorite films ever.) Next to the sewing table, we’ve got two more paintings by Liat LK: These were sold in black and white as canvas prints for painting, and gave us something to do over the pandemic.
That’s all, folks! Do you have a favorite? And what is an art piece that you own and cherish?
Until next time,
Yours,
Chedva x
ps. End the war. Bring the hostages home. Feed Gaza. Elections now.
