Hi friend,
How are you?
How is this email finding you?
How’s your heart?
This is going to be a short dispatch because this week I:
Overcame a really gross virus
Closed a chapter and sighed with relief
Had coffee with one of the most fascinating people I know (which says a lot)
Worked a ton
Rested a bunch
Sent the first-ever marketing email from Consider! See it here and subscribe to the next ones here
Got a gift from above (or below? I mean it was on the sidewalk)
Buckle up, it’s going to be short (I’m super tired), random and lore-heavy.
Gross Virus Galore
Nothing to report here, but why are those still a thing? Also, I was really bummed to miss swimming, but happy to report I didn’t resort to “my body hates me” right away as I’m prone to do. Progress!
Closed a Chapter
As you may know, I had a startup, and I had to close it. It was hard on so many levels. And it took a million years (well, 5) to close the local entity. The US entity is next. Over the last few months, I’ve been emailing local people who were involved in my startup, and it feels like closure. It also feels like integrity. And like both, it sucks and is amazing at the same time. You know? Probably not but I’ll explain some other time.
Coffee with my Dear Nonagenarian Friend
Worked a Ton
I’m so grateful to be back at the stage when my work legitimately excites me. Like, I can’t wait to get to my desk or to the library or cafe I sometimes work from. This week, it was some thrilling client work + working on the upcoming launch of Gravitas - more details soon.
Rested a Bunch
Which looked like this:
“Healing from burnout doesn’t mean giving up on your ambition or goals for the long term. It can look like taking off completely for a while (did that.)It can also look like deciding to shut your laptop for the entire day one day, and waking up at 5 am to work the other day. But you’re the one stirring the wheel, this time. It’s no longer out of inertia. It’s no longer out of fear. It feels like expansion - and when it doesn’t, you take a breath, introspect, and decide where to navigate next.”
And like this:
“I wish I could tell me circa 2022 about tonight, or any time during the last 17 months. And I’m so proud of her for holding on even though she didn’t know for sure happiness was coming.”

I know it sounds simple, and it IS simple. But it required some serious UNSHRINKING.
Got a Gift from Above/ Below
I saved these beauties from the sidewalk, seconds before my dog peed on them. And you can’t convince me it’s not a love note from my grandma, Savta Hadassa. They make my midcentury-mod loving heart very happy and remind me to count my blessings.
Question for you:
(It’s a simple one this time)
(Ready?)
How was your week? What blessings are you counting? What wounds are you licking? How can I help?
Until next time,
Yours,
Chedva x
